You know, until this Glenn Greenwald flap hit the pixelwaves, I assumed that the popular bumper sticker I'm sure you've all seen:
Friends don't let friends vote Republicanwas not meant to be taken as a serious call to deprive Republicans of their voting rights.
But now, given the complete lack of humor on the part of moonbats, I'm not so sure...
Posted by Ken S at July 20, 2006 08:20 AM | TrackBack (0) |Well, I once wanted to have bumper stickers made that read "Friends Don't Let Friends Be Smug Arrogant Assholes Who Take Things So Fucking Seriously They Can't Even Take The Most Lighthearted Jokes Without Calling For A UN Committee To Open An Inquiry Before Writing Angry Letters To The Editors of Metropolitan Newspapers Proclaiming Their Disgust With The State Of Affairs That Actually Allows Human Beings Who Don't Share Their Political Opinions To Continue To Live, Let Alone Vote."
I was told there were issues with size and readability.

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at July 20, 2006 09:21 AMKen, you're thinking of the other bumper sticker - "Friends don't let friends BE Republican." Or was that "Friends don't let Republicans be friends"? It's hard to keep all that hate in order.
"I'm literally angry with rage!"
Posted by: Nightfly at July 20, 2006 09:55 AMI condemn you for that last comment. I think.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at July 20, 2006 10:32 AMI'm literally angry with rage sounds like lyrics to a Motorhead song.

I think her bumper is perfect the way it is, Ken.
I condemn you for stating otherwise.
Posted by: Mr. Bingley at July 20, 2006 11:36 AMThe Hummer's just a damn Suburban in different skin.
What you want is a deuce-and-a-half with a blower on the Continental diesel so you can catch air off the dunes. It's what I want anyhow.
You know, come to think of it, I've been looking to replace my last bumper sticker since DC passed the smoking ban and it became useless. However, even though I drive an evil SUV, I don't think it's wide/tall enough to fit Emily's slogan on it. Too bad.
