"Hail Fredonia", indeed

I had no idea there is actually a Fredonia University (more accurately, a SUNY Fredonia).

There are so many jokes here I don't know where to start. But I wonder what would happen if I called Dennis Hefner an "upstart".

I wonder if there are any schools of higher learning named after Grand Fenwick?

In one of the Civilization II forums, one of the participants was a Rufus T. Firefly - see example here. He used this tagline:

Dig trenches, with our men being killed off like flies? There isn't time to dig trenches. We'll have to buy them ready made. Here, run out and get some trenches.

It's also in IMDB's memorable quotes for the film. I've just decided who I want for the next Secretary fo Labor:

Cabinet Member: The Department of Labor wishes to note that the workers of Freedonia are demanding shorter hours.
Rufus T. Firefly: Very well, we'll give them shorter hours. We'll start by cutting their lunch hour to 20 minutes.

Let the unions suck on that.
