Those little children that come marching from the left side of the search bar at the top of the Yahoo! homepage really get on my nerves. I like to imagine the bus that goes roaring by is crushing them under its tires.

If your password has expired, you have to go in and enter your password. Fair enough. But if it's not, you STILL get this message that says "Go to Yahoo! mail!"
I WOULD DO THAT, Yahoo, but you put this little window up there so I wouldn't HAVE TO. And your little window DOESN'T WORK.
Fuckers.
Posted by: Lisa at August 29, 2006 09:13 AMI think you touched a nerve.
I've never seen them before. That is kinda weird.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at August 29, 2006 10:19 AMMy Yahoo page is sub-par. There are no annoying kids on it. Where are my annoying kids? This is just another example of how we in the south are discriminated against by evil corporate cabals--what, they don't think we're high-tech enough for annoying animated kids? We're just pitiful red state flyover country with our dial-up and our trailer parks and our pork products?
Yeah? Well screw you and the annoying kids you rode in on, Yahoo! You won't get away with oppressing my cracker ass!
And also, what Lisa said. Stupid non-working mail utility. It's probably a conspiracy.
Posted by: BAW at August 29, 2006 11:09 AMHmmm...I do not see the kids. And I'm at work, "stealing time and bandwidth" from my employer, not at home, using my cheap cracker red-state dialup.
Emily, what kinda drugs you on? Maybe that's why you're seeing the kids.
They were there. I swear to what not.
Posted by: Emily at August 29, 2006 11:55 AMI saw them too. Freaky little bastards.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at August 29, 2006 12:39 PMThey're not there now. They're messing with our minds.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at August 29, 2006 12:42 PMI just noticed they were gone. Maybe someone at Yahoo read my post and took them down just for me.
Posted by: Emily at August 29, 2006 12:47 PMBless their little pea pickin' heart
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at August 29, 2006 02:59 PMAnd here I thought it was my superior powers of geekitude that kept me from seeing all the browser-driven hallucinations you mere mortals are heir to. I had to go to my boyfriend's computer (booted to Windows) to see the little devils -- but only using IE. Firefox didn't show them, even on Windows.
Posted by: Angie Schultz at August 29, 2006 08:14 PMHey Yahoo, leave them kids alone
