It's a shame that many news articles about this make a point to mention his role in Superman. I suppose the writers are trying to be relevant to younger internet readers or maybe that’s the only way they, themselves, relate to Glenn Ford. Too, too bad. He was an original. See Cowboy, The Man from the Alamo, or Pocketful of Miracles if Superman is your only memory of that great actor. He played anti-heroes long before Dustin Hoffman made it fashionable.

Apropros my comment in the post above, Perry White is yet another fake person I'd trust for objective news before the actual CBS news department.

I'd actually forgotten he was in Superman. Of course, he was a favorite of mine from childhood.
