Glenn Ford, 1916-2006
Posted by Ken S at August 31, 2006 06:09 AM | TrackBack (0) |It's a shame that many news articles about this make a point to mention his role in Superman. I suppose the writers are trying to be relevant to younger internet readers or maybe that’s the only way they, themselves, relate to Glenn Ford. Too, too bad. He was an original. See Cowboy, The Man from the Alamo, or Pocketful of Miracles if Superman is your only memory of that great actor. He played anti-heroes long before Dustin Hoffman made it fashionable.

Posted by: Lisa at August 31, 2006 06:24 AMIt's two Ns but only one R, Ms. Lane.
Apropros my comment in the post above, Perry White is yet another fake person I'd trust for objective news before the actual CBS news department.
Posted by: Nightfly at August 31, 2006 09:07 AMI'd actually forgotten he was in Superman. Of course, he was a favorite of mine from childhood.
Go with God, Glenn.
