"Huh?" here too

This confuses me too.

Apparently there are a fair number of men who have sex with other men who do NOT identify as either gay (homosexual is such a non-PC term today) or bisexual. Huh?
Must be them damn metrosexuals. I blame Karl Rove, of course.

It's a big issue around here. "Brothers on the down low." Apparently being gay is a huge, huge stigma among a significant portion of the black population around here, and so the men who engage in homosexual behavior have to completely compartmentalize what they do from their image and even their self-image. The problem, of course, is that the same people see AIDS as being a gay disease and they *know they are not gay*, so they are infecting themselves and their partners, who sometimes are their wives who have no idea what's going on. I once actually saw an ad on the side of a bus, with a black couple featured; the woman was looking out at the viewer with a questioning look, and the ad said, "Who's your boo doing while he's doing you?" I only saw it once so it might have been thought to be a bit much.
