Dammit

How come nobody told me our dear, sweet, serial-commenter ricki now has her own blog? I can't be expected to discover these things on my own in any kind of timely manner.

I'm deeply disappointed in all of you who failed to inform me of this exciting development.

I thought you knew! You commented once...or was that someone using your name?

Posted by: ricki at November 13, 2006 07:24 AM

How dare you have to position your cursor over her name and realize that there's now a hyperlink there?

Banjo players.

I don't know. If I did comment, I probably didn't realize it was you, dear. Or maybe I'm just senile, always a possibility.

Actually, Ken, she told us not to tell you.
Maybe it's because of your rep as a stalker? Dunno. But I see she's acting all innocent now.
:-)

Yeah, well, that's probably true. She's a scamp.

And I see that I did comment, it just didn't register in my synapses.

Yeah, I'm friggin' senile...

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at November 13, 2006 07:39 AM

actually, it could be that I'm doing a sociological study on how long it takes people to find new blogs.

or it could be that I'm naturally modest and reticent and don't like to toot my own horn.

or it could be that I just assumed you were already reading...

I vote for senility. And brain damage.

Posted by: Cullen at November 13, 2006 07:45 AM

Yeah, I'm friggin' senile...

You might have been drunk, Ken. Always a possibility, eh?

Posted by: The_Real_JeffS at November 13, 2006 08:42 AM

I'd certainly like to think so.

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at November 13, 2006 08:44 AM

Drunk and senile, that is not a way to go through life - that is the only way to go through life.

Posted by: KG at November 13, 2006 12:27 PM

But at least I'm not fat.

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at November 13, 2006 12:38 PM

Yeah, but you still think the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor and your answer to all of life's travails is "toga! toga! toga!"

Posted by: Emily at November 13, 2006 01:02 PM

What's your point?

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at November 13, 2006 01:07 PM

Your continuing public humiliation, of course.

Posted by: Emily at November 13, 2006 01:30 PM

Oh, get in line.

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at November 13, 2006 01:37 PM

I did. It just takes a little less time to get to the front these days with your girls off at college.

Posted by: Emily at November 13, 2006 02:21 PM

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I now spend my time humiliating my girls in public.

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at November 13, 2006 07:01 PM

As they seem to be better shots than you (well, at least one of them is) I'd take care with that, my friend.

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at November 14, 2006 04:20 AM

Anyone who hangs around Ken already feels humiliated. It's kind of like wearing an "I'm With Stupid" T-shirt.

:-P
