Eh, not my list. I haven't listened to anything new in years. But the Uzzmeister has. Go there and be enlightened. Or perhaps enraged. Or perhaps, like me, just plain confused.
Posted by Ken S at January 27, 2007 07:56 AM | TrackBack (0) |Thanks Ken! Trust me...I get plenty of reactions like that to the list, but since I never listen to the radio anymore, I go out and find some really amazing stuff that people are rarely exposed to. Thanks again for the link!
Posted by: Uzz at January 27, 2007 12:29 PMOh yeah...and I don't think any of those have banjo in them.
Posted by: Uzz at January 27, 2007 12:30 PMYou just had to throw that one in there, din'tcha?
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at January 27, 2007 05:57 PMI got exactly one new album in 2006, "The Fall Parade" by the Anderson Council. I reviewed it on my site a way back when. Click on the big picture and you can buy the thing.
Posted by: Nightfly at January 27, 2007 09:59 PMUzz is right on with The Decemberists. "The Crane Wife" was excellent as was their previous album, "Picaresque." (Can I say "album" anymore? CD?)
Posted by: Kate P at January 28, 2007 07:00 PMI was born in 1960. I have as much use for this list as Andrew Sullivan has for Hugh Hefner's little black book.
Now, top 10 songs from 1967-1977 would be something...
Posted by: Alan K. Henderson at January 30, 2007 12:02 AMIf you give me some time I can get that list of 67-77 ready:-)
