Top 10 CDs of 2006

Eh, not my list. I haven't listened to anything new in years. But the Uzzmeister has. Go there and be enlightened. Or perhaps enraged. Or perhaps, like me, just plain confused.

Thanks Ken! Trust me...I get plenty of reactions like that to the list, but since I never listen to the radio anymore, I go out and find some really amazing stuff that people are rarely exposed to. Thanks again for the link!

Oh yeah...and I don't think any of those have banjo in them.

I got exactly one new album in 2006, "The Fall Parade" by the Anderson Council. I reviewed it on my site a way back when. Click on the big picture and you can buy the thing.

Uzz is right on with The Decemberists. "The Crane Wife" was excellent as was their previous album, "Picaresque." (Can I say "album" anymore? CD?)

I was born in 1960. I have as much use for this list as Andrew Sullivan has for Hugh Hefner's little black book.

Now, top 10 songs from 1967-1977 would be something...

If you give me some time I can get that list of 67-77 ready:-)
