I received a SacBee "Breaking News" alert about this.
Jeez, people, you call yourselves Californians? I can generate a 4.2 falling out of bed.
Feckin' pansies.

At least you werent forced to watch the Anna Nicole cadaver entourage to the airport at 5:30 this morning on EVERY FEKKIN LOCAL TV NEWS STATION.

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at March 2, 2007 06:41 AMMust be a slow news day in California, Ken. Maybe you should make the police chase you in a car, or somesuch, eh?
Posted by: The_Real_JeffS at March 2, 2007 06:43 AMA little early there, Bings.
Val: Ick.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at March 2, 2007 06:43 AMJeff, yeah. I got the regular one later. Nothing going on, apparently.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at March 2, 2007 06:44 AMWow. I wonder what they'd do if there were, like, REAL news?
Posted by: ricki at March 2, 2007 06:52 AMWe didn't even feel it down here, It was interesting to see that KRON broke through that stupid Wicked-Games chick-show to run a phone-line where everybody could call in and say stuff like, "My 2,000-gallon fish tank came down." But we didn't feel a thing.
Posted by: DirtCrashr at March 2, 2007 08:08 AMQuite a while ago, when Murray Hill (now here) (of New Zealand) was hyperventilating about a piddling 6.0 they got, I told him that in NoCal anything below 6.0 was classed as "weather". They used to have a little graphic in the SJ Mercury-News on Mondays, showing the location of the week's earthquakes.
Y'all have turned into a bunch of damn sissies since I left!
Posted by: Angie Schultz at March 2, 2007 08:22 AM*Ahem* Please note that this story came out of Northern California. Southern Californians have 4.2 earthquakes with breakfast, thank you very much.
Posted by: Emily at March 2, 2007 08:29 AMIt came out of sackatomatoes.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at March 2, 2007 08:38 AMOr "Suckramento," as I like to call it. I HATE that place.
