Help

I need some technical web advice from anyone who can help - someone once told me how here, but I can't find it anywhere. I need to know if there's a way to over-ride whatever the funky code is that won't let people in other countries watch US, web-based shows over the internet (like the ones on abc.com or whatever). If anyone knows how and can give me a hand, you'll have my gratitude and I'll buy you a beer the first chance I get.

I believe the blocking software is based on the IP address of the person trying to view it. If the show is popular enough, they might be able to download it using a BitTorrent client from a torrent search site such as The Pirate Bay. Otherwise, they could find a U.S. based proxy server, that might make it possible to view it.

This was the thread.
