That wouldn't be safe. Not at all.
Posted by: The_Real_JeffS at April 10, 2007 02:27 PMSo...does this mean we'll get six more weeks of winter?

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at April 10, 2007 03:22 PMBTW, I toodled on over to Protein Wisdom. Absolutely nothing about this new development. I think Jeff's in denial.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at April 10, 2007 03:27 PMThank god the national nightmare is over. This, coupled with the news of Brittney and K-Fed reaching a divorce settlement, takes a great load off my mind.
Posted by: Emily at April 10, 2007 03:35 PMI knew it would.
Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at April 10, 2007 04:12 PMJeff Goldstein is still in mourning. All that potential comedy, gone forever.
Such a waste.
Posted by: The_Real_JeffS at April 10, 2007 04:13 PMMust be nice to be able to become fabulously wealthy just by having impregnated a dead woman. This guy might as well have gold-plated sperm.
The baby? Oh, well, I suppose she'll be fine. Whatever.
Posted by: Joel, President of Catholics for Xenu at April 10, 2007 05:05 PMYeah, Joel, they can always hire a nanny or six. Poor kid.
Posted by: The_Real_JeffS at April 10, 2007 06:53 PMLarry Birkhead reminds me of Kato Kaelin.
Which makes me pity that baby even more.
Posted by: Julie at April 10, 2007 08:50 PMJoel,
She probably wasn't dead when he impregnated her...
Birkhead - I first heard his name yesterday.

Oh, I know: cheap shot. But I couldn't resist.
This whole thing is just so tacky and sordid. I feel sorry for the kid; there's almost no way she's going to grow up with anything like a normal childhood. When this whole mess first started, I said to someone I know, "The best thing they could do for that kid is adopt her out to a normal family somewhere and not tell her about her background until she's old enough to deal with it (if ever)." He was moderately shocked at that but I stand by my comment (And yeah, I know the whole sticky "when do we tell our child she's adopted" thing. But I somehow think nothing good can come of a seven year old knowing her mommy was Anna Nicole Smith and her mommy dropped dead of a fatal drug combination....)
