Evil. Pure Evil.

That's what I am, indeed. In the extended entry, I have posted something that will drive certain readers up the wall. Or insane. Whichever comes first.

BWAHAHAHAHA!

And the best part is, no one knows if s/he is the one without clicking on Extended Entry.

BWAHAHAHAHA!

So, do you dare click on Extended Entry? Before you do, the question you must ask yourself is "Do you feel lucky?"

Well, do you, reader?

I should have known you'd bid me farewell
There's a lesson to be learned from this and I learned it very well
Now, I know you're not the only starfish in the sea
If I never hear your name again, it's all the same to me

And I think it's gonna be alright
Yeah, the worst is over now
The mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball

You never care for secrets I confide
For you, I'm just an ornament, somethin' for your pride
Always runnin', never carin', that's the life you live
Stolen minutes of your time were all you had to give

And I think it's gonna be alright
Yeah, the worst is over now
The mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball

The story's in the past with nothin' to recall
I've got my life to live and I don't need you at all
The roller-coaster ride we took is nearly at an end
I bought my ticket with my tears, that's all I'm gonna spend

And I think it's gonna be alright
Yeah, the worst is over now
The mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, I know. I suck. Deal with it.

I love that song. LOVE. A Paul Simon classic.

Posted by: caltechgirl at June 18, 2007 09:33 PM

Oh, and ping!

Posted by: caltechgirl at June 18, 2007 09:38 PM

Paul Simon? Is there something I missed?

Hey, as long as it's not a Photoshopped picture featuring Rosie O. or Michael M., I'm happy.

But I will probably be singing that song in my head all morning.

Posted by: ricki at June 19, 2007 04:56 AM

Brat. I'm in an Oracle training class all day and can't listen to the radio to get that song out of my mind! AIIIIIIIIEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Posted by: Julie at June 19, 2007 07:30 AM

I would add to that list, Ricki, a real or photoshopped pic of the Hoff. At this point I'm pretty much desensitized to anything less.

Posted by: Dave E. at June 19, 2007 09:07 AM

You could have been eviller. Mentally, just substitute a banjo for the jangly guitar riff.

Posted by: nightfly at June 19, 2007 10:03 AM

Dave,

You mean like this?

Posted by: Boy Named Sous at June 19, 2007 10:06 AM

DAVE, DON'T DO IT! FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY, DON'T CLICK ON IT!

Posted by: Ken S, Fifth String on the Banjo of Life at June 19, 2007 10:10 AM

Is it kinda wrong that I'm dying to know what this song is, so I can be tortured too?

Posted by: Kate P at June 19, 2007 10:11 AM

Not at all, Kate! Visit CTG's ping above.

Look, we let you guys use bad language, go off topic and talk about whatever you want, link to anything you like and are generally liberal when it comes to comments.

Is it too much to bloody as that you NOT link to that Hasselhof horror pic? PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP IT. Next person that does it, I don't care how much we like you otherwise, is getting permanently BANNED.

You have all been warned.

Posted by: Emily at June 19, 2007 10:28 AM

Fat chance there sous boy, :). Momma didn't raise no fool.

I don't know if banning is good enough for that crime, Emily. I'm thinking their own personalized FFOT might be in order. Just the thought of a personalized FFO from Val and the rest gives me the willies.

Posted by: Dave E. at June 19, 2007 10:40 AM

Dave,
I believe that would fall under the category of "cruel and unusual punishment." Deliberately foisting Val on someone would be a violation of the Constitution.

Posted by: Emily at June 19, 2007 10:54 AM

(And to beat any of the pedantic lawyer types who might show up and point out that citizens cannot violate the Constitution, only the government can...just SHUT UP.)

I don't care how much we like you otherwise, is getting permanently BANNED.

I would suggest that the Powers that Be of this blog "break" Sous' link there, so future generations performing the archaeology of the Internet are not subjected to that kind of horror.

I clicked on it several hours ago and I'm still shaking.

Emily adds: your advice has been heeded, ricki. I did it for humanity. And the children.

Posted by: ricki at June 19, 2007 01:26 PM

Chaos, suffering... my work here is done.

Posted by: Boy Named Sous at June 19, 2007 06:06 PM

That's what you think, Brian.

Posted by: Emily at June 19, 2007 07:22 PM

Back off the Hoff, fishboy...
