Country/Western Trivia (Buck Owens Edition)

Grrr. So I'm trying to install a DVD burner on the old computer. Things are not going well. I seem to be able to have either the DVD burner or the CD burner working, but not both. Grrr. I'm at my wit's end on this issue. I want the DVD burner active because I'm expecting Costco to call soon with my new DVD of family home movies. I'm looking to integrate that one with the one I got before, of which I've already made copies. I can use the DVD writer to copy them, but I want the capability to do more – menus, chapters, and such, which I can't seem to do with the writers themselves – but I'm getting horribly frustrated.

So anyway, being horribly frustrated by this candy-ass nonsense, I took Merle on my weekly ride just to cheer myself up. Of course, since I've already done Merle, I can't very well do it again, but Merle's from Bakersfield and that gave my the idea of making a quiz from another Bakersfield fella, Buck Owens.

Now as some of you may know, The Buckster is linked inextricably with the Royster. And with Bakersfield. And so the circle is complete.

I know it's weak but I've had a bad day. Work with me here.

ANYhoo, today's quiz is on Buck Owens. But being so frustrated and short on time, it will likely be a short one:

1) I'm losing weight and turning mighty pale, and there won't be much when you get through with me. What have I got? [Lisa: I've got a tiger by the tail]

2) They're gonna make a big star out of me. What do I have to do? [Angie: All I have to do is act naturally]

3) When you're blue and all alone, when their glamour starts to bore you, what should you do?

4) She used to carry my books to school and help me with my homework because I was a fool. Who was a good old girl? [JohnW: Sally was a good old girl]

5) You're gonna leave, I can see that faraway look in your eyes. What time is it? [Angie: It's cryin' time again]

6) The sun's gonna shine, in my life once more and things are gonna be the way they, were before. What's gonna live here? [Mike: Love's gonna live here again]
