Time to fire up the barbecue!

And maybe have a bonfire!

I spent several minutes trying to parse out what E.R.F. could be an acronym for before I realized it was Limbaugh's patented "comic mispronunciation."

Ergh.

(It's supposed to be like 88* or some damn temperature today here...can I just eat some veal instead of having to set fire to something?)

With my blessings, dear!

In the true American spirit, I celebrated by paying $3.41 per gallon for gas, and drove 25 miles to work in my non-hybrid, greenhouse emissions-producing, 6-cylinder Altima 3.5.

You may thank me now.

Thank you, Julie.

I celebrated by driving the long way to work, around a couple of our finally ice-free lakes.

I fired up both my cars and drove nowhere. Started the lawn mower but didnt mow the lawn. Lit my gas and charcoal bbqs. Smoked an endangered salmon and farted a couple of times to boot. I consider it a successful erf day.
